GET INVOLVED

In 2010 RDA celebrated 40 years of delivering opportunities for therapy, achievement and enjoyment to people with disabilities

Each of our ridden sessions requires the help of many dedicated volunteers. Experience with horses is not essential but would be helpful along with a sense of humour, plenty of energy, and patience. On going training is provided during sessions and also at Regional and County Training days. Every week we need volunteers to lead the horses, side walkers to assist riders when necessary, horses tacked up and prepared for the sessions, equipment put out in the school for use during the sessions and then cleared away afterwards. The 3 sessions take place on Wednesday afternoons throughout term time from 1pm until 4pm. Please contact our Group Organiser Dea Price on 01579 370090 for more details on how to get involved.
